On March 31, 2017, the Jacksonville Community came together to celebrate the accomplishments of the Foundation for Fortitude at the Pure White Affair held at the Haskell Building with a beautiful view of the Jacksonville riverfront. The upscale all-white attire event included attendance of special VIP guest Marlo Hampton of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and celebrity host Gene Dot Com. DJ Dr. Doom kept the guests on their feet and the food was fabulous. This was the inaugural event of what is planned to be an annually held fundraiser in March of each year to bring attention to the past year's accomplishments and raise funds for the next year's Foundation for Fortitude scholarships and educational programs.
