Who is a Fortitude Builder?
Persons and corporations that have influence, resources, and community presence committed to investing financially to the future of young college women in the Jacksonville area and serving as ambassadors for the Foundation for Fortitude.
How can a Fortitude Builder have an impact?
•Giving financially to the projects and goals of Foundation for Fortitude to ensure continued success and growth.
•Sharing your dedication to the investment in lives of young college women with colleagues, friends, and family to help build the supporting group of the Foundation.
How will my financial gift be used?
•Scholarships are a major component of our mission and a vital tool to assist the young women in continuing their education. The number of scholarships we fill determines the number of participants we accept into the program. More scholarships allow a greater impact and we seek first to fill scholarship goals.
•Educational programs are how we create a strong mindset for the young women that their educational goals are not lofty, but within reach. The programs cover a wide range of focuses including business etiquette, mental health, campus safety, and basic financial skills. Our programs can grow and expand with more financial support.
•Many college students can only afford tuition and have no resources to pay for food, books, laptops or printers for class work, and in some cases lodging. The disadvantages of being hungry, worried about where you will study and sleep, and having to make grades without the proper resources is obvious. We have determined that these difficulties exist and must be overcome. Your financial gifts will be used toward assisting the students in the areas they need whether that is a meal plan for the school year, clothes, personal hygiene items, books, and/or tech kits that include a laptop and printer that can be used by the student throughout their college career.
•We are always facing a new challenge as we get to know the girls in our program. One may have endured abuse, one may not have parental support for their college goals, and of course there are the issues mentioned previously. We have the advantage of being able to work with the young women one on one and supporting their individual goals and needs. In some cases, we have the ability to intervene and support within our resources, and sometimes we seek professional support for them outside of our Foundation. Your gifts allow us this opportunity and the impact is immediate. It truly makes a difference as to their ability to thrive in their journey forward.

•You will be funding the support of young college women toward their educational goals and providing them with the skills, knowledge, and personal empowerment to have a positive impact on their family, their future family, their community, and those they will serve in their career choice. •You will be increasing the odds that a young woman will stay in school and complete her education rather than falling through the cracks unnoticed, unsupported, and failing in her educational goals not because of her effort, but the lack of needed resources and assistance. •Your immediate impact is on the lives of the young women in our program, but their success has a rippling effect. Recognition as a $5000 Architect Level Member of Fortitude Builders:
•Your gift funds 2 scholarships and the participation of 2 college women in our program.
•Your gift will support immediate needs such as meal plans, hygiene kits, tech kits (laptop, software, printer, paper, and ink), and other support.
•Personal invitations to all Foundation for Fortitude Events and the Graduation banquet and ceremony at the end of the scholastic year.
•Recognition in all printed event programs.
•Recognition on the Foundation for Fortitude’s Fortitude Builders Support webpage.
•Thank you card from the group of young women that will benefit from your gift.
•Recognition on the Fortitude Builders Tribute Wall Plaque at Foundation for Fortitude’s offices.

•Your gift will fund 1 scholarship and the participation of 1 college woman in our program.
•Your gift will support immediate needs such as meal plans, hygiene kits, tech kits, and other support.
•Personal invitations to all Foundation for Fortitude Events and the Graduation banquet and ceremony at the end of the scholastic year.

Become a Fortitude Builder Engineer:
Recognition as a $1500 Contractor Level Member of Fortitude Builders:

Become a Fortitude Builder Surveyor:
Recognition as a $500 Foreman Level Member of Fortitude Builders:
•Your gift will support immediate needs of our program and the women participating in Foundation for Fortitude for the current scholastic year including but not limited to educational program materials, meal plans, hygiene kits, and other support.

Installment Plan for Giving:

Fortitude Builders may be entitled to full tax deductions for their financial gifts to Foundation for Fortitude for we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity.
